The history of our Company
Dear Partner!
Our company was founded in 1989 as a limited liability company and was engaged in the foreign trade of materials, machinery and equipment. Shortly after foundation, the scope of activities was further extended by representing renowned foreign companies and by warehouse wholesale. In 1995, our steadily growing turnover exceeded the amount of HUF 1 billion.
The next stage of development was the acquisition of ownership stakes in several well-known domestic manufacturing companies we had previously cooperated with as suppliers of raw materials or exporters of finished products. We are committed to promoting the market access of competitive Hungarian goods. To facilitate this, we have also established our own companies in the neighboring and some more distant countries, which are mainly engaged in the sale of our products.
The steady growth of the company has shown that we are on the right track. Our commitment to quality is demonstrated by the fact that we were among the first trading companies in Hungary to introduce the ISO 9001 quality management system. An important organizational change was the fact that our stainless steel division, which has gained a prominent position in the domestic stainless steel market, has been operating as an independent Ltd. since 1 January 1999. As a result, our turnover exceeded HUF 2 billion in 1998 and our share capital was increased to HUF 100 million.
In the following years, our continued growth justified the grouping of our various activities into separate companies, which laid the foundations for the Rév Group Holding of today.
In the last ten years, the Holding has been expanded by several additional companies, and now consists of more than 10 companies, with a total of more than 400 employees, deliveries to 57 countries and a turnover of more than HUF 8 billion.
Our current success is also possible thanks to you, because without our customers, suppliers, banks and other partners we would not have been able to achieve such a development.
